When I first started working out and training other women in fitness and nutrition, I was in my late twenties and it was simple. Follow a workout program and a nutrition plan and get results.
But my thirties brought a lot of change, motherhood, career growth, lack of sleep, managing all the parts of life and suddenly around 35, what was once simple, became very difficult. Fatigue, depletion, irregular periods, digestive issues, weight gain, cravings began to set in, and no matter how hard I worked out, or how diligent I was with nutrition, it all became impossible. Nothing was working. I remember feeling defeated…was this really how I was meant to feel the rest of my life? Was I just heading into the dark unknown of menopause? What was wrong with me? Why couldn’t I just push through? It began to take a toll on my happiness and confidence.
I had HEAPS of experience as a fitness coach, personal trainer and nutrition and mindset coach.
I dove into holistic living for women, took in all of the science and truths about hormones, learned what the body ‘whispered’ to us every day and knew it was my “calling” to feel amazing in my own body and spread that to all of the women who were coming to be with the same struggle.
